Prayer is not a Duty for "pastors"

Paul charged Timothy to admonish is church members,

1Ti 2:1  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men;

1Ti 2:8  I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
1Ti 2:9  In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

By the way
Today, 1Tim2:9 means more of moral conduct in dressing than it meant prayer to some christians.

The verse was FIRST about prayer

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men;

Modest dressing is good but futile if you don't have a solid prayer life.

Have a prayer life without wrath and doubting first, then "in like manner also", be modest in dressing

So Paul charged Timothy to teach church members, not to raise a great music team,  not to build a bigger auditorium, not to raise a prayer department, but to first of all pray
To pray for all men, and by all men and women

Amongst these men will be Bishops and deacons (1Tim 3:1-8)
There were old men also (1Tim5:1)
So also young brothers and sisters
And widows
Servants and masters

1Ti 6:1  Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and [his] doctrine be not blasphemed.

Which in contemporary term can be likened to employers and employees

The church had very wealthy and influential men

1Ti 6:17  Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Yet all these were to pray EVERYWHERE

1Ti 2:8  I will therefore that men pray every where,

It is the duty of ALL SAINTS to stand in prayer for ALL SAINTS

IN the morning
Mar 1:35  And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed

At night, midnight, all night
Mar 6:46-47 KJV
(46)  And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
(47)  And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.

Mat 14:23  And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

The 11 apostles of the Lamb plus 109 other 'ordinary' laities gathered praying and praying

Act 1:13-16 KJV
(13)  And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James [the son] of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas [the brother] of James.
(14)  These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
(15)  And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
(16)  Men [and] brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

We must brace up and keep strong in the Lord
Eph 6:10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Praying is a calling for everyone of us. Let's constantly engage in it.
