your sins will not keep God off you

Isa 1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

many times when we ought to approach God in faith, the devil reminds us that we are "sinful" and even without any rejection from God yet, we pass the verdict: "I can't be a guest to such a holy God, no, I'm not worthy. of all people, I the greatest of all sinners, a fornicator, etc; so we call ourselves names the Lord has not called us. in fact some of us think it's by doing that we give God pride and God sees how humble we are. hmm!

*[[Luk 5:8]] KJV* When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

but what was Jesus' reply?

*[[Luk 5:10]] KJV* ...And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

So God asks me to tell you if you're in such a shoe as Peter, FEAR NOT! thou shall catch men. God wants to change your status! he wants to MAKE you. but what if you have told him "no way Lord! your eyes cannot behold me in my sins. God cannot have anything to do with people like me."?

hear this, God will NOT reckon with your sins or inadequacies. that is why it's of grace and not of works. He does the changing! don't say "let me repent first, and then I will ask Jesus to come and use me". No! If He claims to have the power, then let Him by that power take away your sins. If He really mean business, why first "work on yourself" then Christ? - failure!
Christianity is not about"working on yourself", it is submitting to Him that works in us to do and to will of His good pleasure (Phil2:12).

Can you see why your sins can no longer stop God? yes, the earth was filled with wickedness when Jesus came, yet He came. there was none righteous, yet Jesus was not stopped by that, He stayed in men's houses (John 1:38-39). that is why He is called the Saviour. someone who will save you must not run away from you! A doctor must not run away from his patients because they are sick. what's the work of a Saviour then? What's a Savior of the earth doing in the holy heavens, that He cannot come down to DWELL in you? We will keep running away from our healing as long as we run away from doctor. we will keep running away from our salvation as long as we keep our Saviour away in excuse of sinfulness.

*[[Mat 9:13]] KJV* But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

He said that Himself: I the Lord will have mercy, not sacrifice that you want to first make to purify yourself from sin in order to see God. It was a personal decision God took by Himself. mercy! mercy! no more sacrifices. your sins shall not stop God from getting to you!
