You are Led by The Spirit of God! - An Act of Grace

There might be a holy desire in you if you are born again to be receiving the leadings of the Spirit of God. Everyone wants to make best decisions. No one wants to run into mistakes. No one wants to run into losses. Men are so blind without a Guide. That's why people turn to so-called "prophets", diviners, stargazers etc, because they'll like to know what step is next and best in their life. In short, an undeniable need in everyone's life is the need to be guided by a supernatural power somewhere. But good news to the Christian! We are led by the Almighty Himself!


It's so real! It's so true! We have access to the Father and God of the universe's leading.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14 KJV)

Isn't it amazing? That as sons, we are not left without guide in this world? It is a right for all sons to be led! Everyone that is born again is given a portion of divine leading.

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. (Isaiah 30: 21 KJV)

This is called Leading by Grace.

It is born not out of our earnest prayers and fasting, but out of God's grace and promise. Yes! I mean just that! Whether we ask Him to lead us or not, He does lead us to fulfil His word. He leads us for His name sake.

Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go. (Isaiah 48:17 KJV)

It's a covenant in the redemptive work of Jesus that bought us the Holy Spirit. For "That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles THROUGH JESUS CHRIST; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit THROUGH FAITH" (Galatians 3:14 KJV).


It is on the same covenant that our leading stands. He says in the Psalms:

I WILL instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I WILL guide thee with mine eye. (Psalms 32:8 KJV)

Note the word "I will". "I will", "I will", "I will"… not in response to our prayer, but as a result of God's choice to lead us. "I will lead thee… I will guide thee… I will teach thee… I will… I will…"


All a son must do today is to receive that leading as it comes. Well, he could also ignore (left to him); but God must abide faithful.


Therefore if a question arise in anyone's heart: "I wish to be led everyday by the Spirit of God!" The answer simply would be: "be born again!" when a man becomes a son, he begins to enjoy his share of the divine cake, one of which is Spirit's leading.

Only those people who are led by God's Spirit are his children. (Romans 8:14 CEV)

So we have someone to turn to if/when in confusion. We have the Spirit of God who can be trusted. God be praised! We are led by the Spirit of God without asking for it, even though praying can help us get it clearer. Glory to God!
